<![CDATA[ Izzaxoxo14344 - YouTube: My Videos]]>Tue, 29 Dec 2015 07:11:57 -0800Weebly<![CDATA[InuYasha's Lullaby: The End of a Series]]>Sun, 22 Nov 2015 22:18:39 GMThttp://izzaxoxo14344.weebly.com/youtube-my-videos/inuyashas-lullaby-the-end-of-a-seriesI am both happy and sad that today, the day that the InuYasha Soutanshi Piano Tutorial Series ends, has come. This project took years to complete. It has grown on me and I've learned many things about teaching piano while completing this series.

I've taught piano occasionally and all I can say is that, BOTH the student(s) and the teacher must work together in order to bring learning to each other. That is, perhaps, the biggest concept I have ever learned with my (limited) experience. I was used to thinking that, as a student, I'm the only one who needs to work hard and be patient with practicing and all that jazz. Since I started teaching, I know now that teachers must also work just as hard (to plan how to teach effectively) and have patience with their students as well.

I've gotten so many compliments and suggestions throughout the series--thank you! I will keep everything in mind next time.

Without further ado, the video below marks the end of an age and the beginning of a new era for me. I hope you all stay with me through my journey next time as well! Thanks!
<![CDATA[Part IV of the InuYasha Piano Tutorial Series is... DONE.]]>Mon, 16 Nov 2015 04:16:27 GMThttp://izzaxoxo14344.weebly.com/youtube-my-videos/part-iv-of-the-inuyasha-piano-tutorial-series-is-doneI sound so surprised, don't I? After all, 2 years have passed since Part III was uploaded. Today, I celebrate Part IV's upload with cheese cake :P

Once again, I thank all of you who stuck with me till now, through all the trials that life have put me (and all of you). Thank you for your patience and continued support. I truly cannot thank you enough. Without further ado, below is InuYasha's Lullaby Piano Tutorial Part IV
On another note, a request I received lately was to make blog posts about music-related stuff (aside from updates for our YouTube channel). Question is, what topics would you like me to cover? If you have suggestions, please leave a message about it. Thanks!

And finally, don't forget to follow me on Twitter for quicker updates (the uploading of this video was heavily foreshadowed by my recent posts)! If you have questions about the video and its content, please comment in the comments sections of the vid (or here is fine actually. Thanks!

Hope you all enjoy! I hope to see you in Part V!

Yours truly,
<![CDATA[Wow! Two posts in ONE month!]]>Sat, 31 Oct 2015 06:10:02 GMThttp://izzaxoxo14344.weebly.com/youtube-my-videos/wow-two-posts-in-one-monthI just wanted to keep updates going whenever I've done something. I am aware that after the site has been revamped, some of the YouTube videos posted weren't working properly in the mobile version of the site. I have recently attempted to re-do the links and the results? So far, so good. I'm not entirely done yet. I know for sure that the Covery (Variety) page still needs work but the others should be fine. Kapeesh?
On another note, I've gotten myself hooked with some jazz. I've started studying with this book which was highly recommended by two excellent musicians I know. I just started so I can't rightfully review the book yet but the first chapter is looking good! I'll let y'all know what I think of it when I've gone into more depth with it.

Well, that's it for now! I'll keep updating things, editing the Soutanshi series, etc.

Again, thank you for the support!

QUICK UPDATE (10/31/15): Vids are now re-linked! Everything should be working in any version (desktop, mobile). If problems persist, please contact me!
ANOTHER QUICK UPDATE (11/2/15): To my loyal Twitter peeps, I only edit on the weekends. Thus, I will not be editing any vids Monday to Friday (which is unfortunately, contrary to popular demand). However, that's not to say that I don't film during weekdays ;) Cheers!

Yours truly,
<![CDATA[Recent Events Must be Taken Into Consideration]]>Mon, 26 Oct 2015 02:46:49 GMThttp://izzaxoxo14344.weebly.com/youtube-my-videos/recent-events-must-be-taken-into-considerationLong time no see!

I know I myself have been out of the YouTube scene for another year. As you all know (or might not know), I am approaching my final couple of years in university and working part-time at the same time which is why my filming, editing and uploading schedule has been out of whack for at least 2 years now. Many of you have already given up on me--I understand. It really has been too long and I truly apologize for making you all wait.

That being said, this YouTube project that I started as a hobby will still continue, albeit in a much slower pace. For example, the InuYasha Soutanshi Series that is under an unannounced hiatus has been restarted. I only recently began filming for it again. However, while I may have filmed the scenes, editing in itself takes even more time. Because of that, the series will still continue but won't be released as fast as many of you would like. Have faith, I do not start something without having the intent to finish.

Aside from the tutorial series, I am planning to film and upload two songs that have been mentioned by past viewers on YouTube. Those should be up either late this year or early next year. If you have been following me on Twitter, you may have an idea(s) as to which songs I'm doing.

Also, as you can see, my website has been revamped and updated! This is the result of the many suggestions I've received over the course of my YouTube existence (haha). Thank you! I'm still not done with editing the site so if any of you see inconsistencies, know that I will fix it in due time!

Again, I'm so sorry for not uploading much for the past few years. I hope you all understand. On a much positive note, I still receive feedback and comments from videos and from the requests/suggestions form. Truly, I thank you for the continued support :)

Yours truly,

<![CDATA[(Belated) Happy Holidays!]]>Sat, 27 Dec 2014 05:36:32 GMThttp://izzaxoxo14344.weebly.com/youtube-my-videos/belated-happy-holidays2014 has been a very busy and quiet year for me (when it comes to uploading videos, that is). I have not even looked at requests because I positively can barely practice piano. Added part-time work to full-time studying is not a good thing to do (I do not recommend it) and I am truly thankful for everyone's support and patience. And now, as my continued "thank you" to everyone, I present to you--"Silent Night":

I honestly cannot fathom playing piano without you all. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
